The current pilot fleet includes operators across several different portfolio structures. Each operator connects their assets, configures their policy bounds, and Pollen dispatches autonomously from there.
Independent solar and storage operators
Owners of solar PV and co-located or stand-alone batteries across sites. Pollen dispatches each asset by settlement period, using the operator's site policies.
Small VPP aggregators
Aggregators overseeing contracted assets for several operators or landowners. Pollen handles per-site dispatch, while the aggregator sees the full portfolio in the fleet dashboard.
Community energy groups
Groups operating shared renewable assets for member communities. Pollen dispatches their assets autonomously.
Energy service companies with storage assets
ESCOs and energy contractors responsible for battery systems installed at client facilities. Per-site policy controls let operators align dispatch with each client's contracted terms.

Daily or weekly summaries show revenue attribution per site per period. Open a settlement window to review its dispatch record in the audit log.
Adjust policy as the fleet changes
Change a site's export limit or price threshold, or add a site, without altering other policies. Updated settings apply to later dispatch cycles.

Set policy parameters separately for each site: SOC floors, price thresholds, and export limits. Controls can differ across the portfolio.

The settlement audit log records each dispatch decision and its settlement context, allowing operators to review actions by settlement period.
Exception alerts
Alerts flag an unresponsive site, a dropped hardware API connection, or a breach of configured policy bounds.
