The platform

Autonomous dispatch every settlement period

Pollen links distributed solar and battery assets, reads live settlement prices, and sends each site charge, hold, or sell commands every 15 minutes. No action is needed per dispatch.

Core capabilities

Per-site dispatch from price signal to revenue

Each capability addresses a point where manual fleet dispatch fails. Pollen runs all six continuously, site by site, with no operator input between cycles.

Live price feeds

Day-ahead and intraday prices from MIBEL, EPEX, and other European market APIs are normalized, then passed to dispatch in 15-minute settlement periods.

Site-specific assessment

For each asset, Pollen evaluates SOC, local solar irradiance forecasts, and grid connection capacity separately. Decisions remain site-specific, never averaged across the fleet.

Automatic dispatch commands

Pollen sends charge, hold, or sell commands straight to site hardware through API. Operators define policy limits once, then actions run continuously inside them.

Settlement reconciliation

For every settlement period, Pollen records the dispatch choice, achieved price, and metered output. Operators can trace each action to its price curve.

Operator policy controls

Define SOC floors, export limits, and price thresholds by site or fleet. Pollen dispatches autonomously within those boundaries.

Hardware API links

Pollen links inverters, battery management systems, and smart meters through standard APIs. New sites require API credentials and confirmed asset parameters.

How it works

The dispatch cycle, step by step

Every 15-minute settlement window starts the same three-stage sequence across the fleet's assets.

01

Price curve intake

Market APIs supply settlement prices for the current and coming periods. Day-ahead and intraday sessions become one price view for each market zone.

02

Per-site optimization

Pollen weighs each site's SOC, local solar forecast, and grid constraints against the price curve. The model selects the best action for that asset at that time.

03

Dispatch command sent

The selected charge, hold, or sell instruction reaches site hardware through API. Pollen logs it with the price context and asset state behind the decision.

04

Settlement reconciliation

Once the period closes, metered output is compared with the command and final settlement price. Revenue is attributed by site and period.
